My name is Mrs. Porcelli, formerly Miss Huston. This is my fifth year at HNMS and sixth year of teaching. I am super excited to spend another year in the district! Throughout the 2022-2023 school year, I will be teaching 8th grade Pre-Algebra and Algebra I.
I currently live in Fort Walton Beach. I am originally from Pennsylvania and have relocated to Florida because my husband is in the Air Force and is stationed at Hurlburt Field. I received my Bachelor's degree in Mathematics and Secondary Education from West Chester University of PA. Additionally, I have my Masters of Education in Learning and Technology through Western Governors University.
I have experience teaching both middle school and high school. The courses I have previously taught include Pre-Calculus, Honors Algebra II, Algebra II, Algebra I, 8th Grade, 6th Grade,
and Intensive Math.
In my free time, I enjoy running and biking on local trails, crafting with my cricut,
baking yummy cakes and other goodies, and going to the beach.
